Sustaining Life & Sprint Features
Trailer Design
Academy Award nominated for best student documentary, Sustaining Life, is a film about turning the current crisis in Africa into opportnity for global investment. I was commissioned to create the opening logo animation for Sprint Features as well as the end logo reveal and credit block for Sustaining Life. The concept behind the Sprint Features animation was to take the viewer into the soul of a Sprint Features Film to reveal, instead of flashy explosions or gorgeous actors, thousands of faces of needy children. The end title reveal uses the rising sun over the earth as a volumetric transition for the title of the film. Once the camera moves past the logo, it burst towards the continent of Africa as lights of hope begin to fill the country side forming the letters of the end title block.
